The value for money was great, with a comfortable and warm room that had a lovely view of the countryside. The staff treated us with a friendly welcome, answered our questions, and provided helpful information about local places.
Food for breakfast could have been better with thicker pillows for a more comfortable sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming countryside retreat just outside of Exeter. Upon arrival, the owner personally greeted me and gave me a tour of the facilities. Although I decided to explore a local village pub for dinner, the recommendation proved to be a triumph with an excellent meal. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the included breakfast was cooked to order and set me up for the day. The tranquility of the location was exactly what I needed, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I highly recommend this establishment for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed at Lower Thornton Farm Villa for the second time and it was just as impressive as before. the location is peaceful and secluded, offering stunning views of the surrounding farmland. We were delighted to have a room with a balcony, allowing us to relax outside with a glass of wine and take in the beautiful scenery. the breakfast selection was excellent, with a variety of cereals, fruits, pastries, and a delicious cooked breakfast.

The location was peaceful and secluded, offering beautiful views of the surrounding farmland. We particularly loved having a room with a balcony, where we could relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The hosts, Alison and her sister Jane, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Despite the narrow country lanes leading to the farm, we managed to find our way with the help of signs along the road. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The lounge area was a nice touch and provided a good alternative for using the WiFi, which was a bit weak in the rooms. Although it was a bit chilly due to the country setting, the host was very helpful in providing a heater for our room. our experience at Lower Thornton Farm exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

At Lower Thornton Farm, we definitely got great value for our money. The room was spacious, clean, and had a large and comfortable bed. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, especially the starry night sky. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for both exploring nearby attractions like Dawlish and Exeter, and also for enjoying some peaceful relaxation afterwards. Additionally, there were plenty of excellent dining options nearby.
The morning meal could have been improved by adding a wider variety of gluten-free options.
